
Art Therapy uses art-making and other expressive techniques to deepen the process of healing and self-discovery. At the Art Therapy Studio, we offer several programs, all focusing on the transformational power of the creative process.
Art Psychotherapy:
By bringing our personal imagery into therapy, we explore and resolve issues in creative, and sometimes unexpected, ways. Effective in addressing depression, stress, body image, bereavement, relationship issues, life transitions, and creative blocks, art therapy is a primary form of counseling as well as a complement to traditional psychotherapy. Also offering specialized support for miscarriage and other kinds of pregnancy loss.
Sessions include in-depth discussions, as well as the use of art materials best suited to focus on particular issues. No art experience is needed.
Creativity Coaching:
Move through creative blocks and old messages to reclaim your creative self. Whether you are stalled on a specific project or simply long to integrate creativity into your daily life, creativity coaching is a supportive and effective tool for healing and forward momentum.
